The celebration of the St. John Bosco

31st of January the Church celebrates the St. John Bosco, an Italian priest, the educator of youth and the founder of religious organisations for the sake of salvation of the youth, especially the poor ones. He founded the Salesian Society, named in honor of St. Francis de Sales, and of the Daughters of Mary, Help of Christians. His lifework was the salvation of youngsters, hence his title, “Apostle of Youth.” He was an enlightened educator and innovator.
