  • On September 14th the Church celebrates the Feast of the Holy Cross. The cross is a symbol of Christ’s victory over death and evil. In Jerusalem, since the 5th century, the day after the consecration of the Church of the Resurrection, that is, September 14 was dedicated to the veneration of the cross. From this tradition a special feast arose which spread throughout the Church.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
