VICAR GENERAL OF THE PREFECTURE TOOK PART IN THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

On December 17, an international conference on the topic of “Interreligious Harmony: Promoting Peaceful Coexistence” was held in Rabat (Morocco), jointly organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Work with Religious Organizations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO) and the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kingdom of Morocco. The conference was attended by the Vicar General of the Apostolic Prefecture of the Catholic Church in Azerbaijan, Fr. Josef Marek. In his speech, Fr. Josef Marek spoke about the history and modernity of the Catholic Church in Azerbaijan, the relations of the Church with society and the state, built on mutual trust, as well as the culture of multiculturalism in Azerbaijan.
