THE POPE EMERITUS BENEDICT XVI PASSED AWAY

The Apostolic Prefecture of the Catholic Church in Azerbaijan with the
deepest sorrow informs that on the morning of 31 of December 2022, the Pope
Emeritus Benedictus XVI passed away in the Monastery of Mater Ecclesiae in
Vatican.

The Apostolic Prefecture of the Catholic Church in Azerbaijan kindly
informs that the Book of Condolences will be open in the Cathedral Church
located at lzzat Orucov Street 24, from Wednesday the 4rd of January till
Friday 6th of January, at 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, and 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
