Apostolic prefect of the Catholic Church in Azerbaijan Bishop Vladimir Fekete visited the memorial of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev

The public of Azerbaijan is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the outstanding statesman, founder of the modern Azerbaijan Heydar Alirza oglu Aliyev.

 

Leaders and representatives of the traditional religious confessions of Azerbaijan, headed by the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslim Board, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, came to the Alley of Honor, laid flowers at the memorial of the great son of the Azerbaijani people and honored the blessed memory of Heydar Aliyev with prayers.

 

Bishop Vladimir Fekete was accompanied by the vicar general of the Apostolic Prefecture, Fr. Joseph Marek.
